These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile application My Magic Mirror (the "App"), provided by Leonardo Miguel Pedretti, operating as Código Dínamo ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. The App
My Magic Mirror displays your device's front camera as a full-screen mirror, with optional visual aids (such as a ring-light overlay, color temperature, freeze-frame, and zoom). The App can be shown over the lock screen and can optionally appear when you wake your device. Use of the App is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
2. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service.
3. Free version, premium features, and trial
- The App is free to download. Core mirror functionality is available at no cost.
- Certain premium features may be offered free for a limited introductory period. After that period, those features require the one-time purchase described below.
- The free version may display advertisements.
4. In-app purchases
- The App offers a one-time, non-recurring purchase to unlock premium features and remove advertisements. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
- All purchases are processed and fulfilled by Google Play Billing. Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may vary by region and over time.
- Your purchase is tied to your Google account and can be restored on a new device or after reinstalling, subject to Google Play's functionality.
- Refunds are handled in accordance with the Google Play refund policy and any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under applicable law (including Argentine consumer law and, where applicable, EU consumer law). We do not separately process payments and therefore cannot issue payments directly.
5. Advertising
The free version of the App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. Advertisements are not shown while the mirror camera is active. Purchasing the premium unlock removes advertisements. Your interactions with ads are governed by the advertisers' and Google's own terms and policies.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except to the extent permitted by applicable law;
- use the App for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm, disable, or impair the App;
- interfere with or circumvent the advertising, purchase, or security mechanisms of the App;
- use the App to record or capture images of other people without their consent, or in any manner that violates privacy or other laws.
7. Intellectual property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, and branding ("Código Dínamo", "My Magic Mirror"), is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks or content except the limited license set out above.
8. Privacy
Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is handled. Notably, the camera image is processed on your device in real time and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.
9. Third-party services
The App relies on third-party services (including Google Play Services, Google AdMob, and Google Play Billing). We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties, and your use of them is governed by their respective terms and policies.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot be excluded under applicable mandatory law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim. This section does not limit liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable mandatory law, including consumer-protection law.
12. Changes to the App and these Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Termination
These Terms remain in effect while you use the App. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Argentina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence remain unaffected.
